AGAR-AGAR powder
Agar is jellylike that made from red algae, a type of seaweed. It can be used as a variety of dishes, including puddings, mousses, and jellies, as well as ice cream, gummy candies, and cheesecake. It is an important ingredient in the Japanese dessert anmitsu, which calls for kanten jelly, a mixture of agar-agar, water, and sugar.
Aiyu Jelly Powder
Flavor Description: Agar powder with no taste, flavor, and color, chewy and gel-like. Similar to the texture of grass jelly or agar-based crystal boba.
Storage Recommendations:
- Avoid direct sunlight or moisture, and keep in a cool and dry place
- Seal the bag after opening it.
- Expiration dates as marked on the package.
Instruction
Practice Ratio: (powder: water = 1:6)
Non-boiled Version
1. Mix 600g of hot water with 100g of agar powder, and stir until dissolved.
2. Pour into mold and leave it cool, then refrigerate until firm up and enjoy.
Boiling Version
1. In a pot, mix 100g of Agar Jelly powder and 600g of water together, keep stirring and boiling for 10 seconds, then turn off the heat and stir again for about 2 seconds.
2. Pour into mold and leave it cool, then refrigerate until firm up and enjoy.
